#8693: Settings - Rollover Note Does Not Show in iPad

If Apple iPads are used within your organisation to access or process records within the ionMy system and the software version is 13 or above, a change to your browser settings when using Safari or Firefox is required to utilise the 'Tool Tips' functionality on specified fields. 

A Tool Tip is represented by a question mark symbol (?) that appears next to some fields during initial submission or continued processing of event records.

When a user on a desktop hovers their mouse over the Tool Tip, a hover note appears that typically provides the end user with further information regarding the purpose of the field and/or section. 

When a user is on a mobile device such as a phone or tablet, they are able to touch the (?) symbol and the hover note will appear, however with the newest software versions of Apple a minor change to your device settings needs to be applied to your device in order to utilise the 'Tool Tips' that are configured within your ionMy system. 

How to change your device settings: 

1. Navigate to Settings on your device

2. In the left hand side menu panel - scroll down to your Safari and/or Firefox browser and select it

3. In the right hand side menu panel for your selected web browser - scroll to the bottom 

4. Locate the option; Request Desktop Site 

5. Select 'Request Desktop Site' and disable the setting using the toggle
